Have you encountered situations where you have made a rushed determination on why an issue occurred so that you could put a quick fix in place – only to have it happen again? Looking back, was the process of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) used to its fullest? How about Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) to see if the intervention was appropriate for the situation? In the second of our three-part webinar series, this presentation will walk us through actual RCA scenarios and the process of PDSA that can be used to achieve optimal outcomes.

1. Identify when the need for an RCA should be done
2. Describe what to do if a PDSA isn’t successful
3. Discuss the 4 steps to PDSA
