NADONA Announces the Nurse Scholarship Recipients Sponsored by PharMerica
June 23, 2025
The Nurse Scholarship Awards (formerly the Stephanie Carroll Scholarship) in honor of NADONA’s fallen Nurse Leaders are intended for nursing students enrolled in an accredited nursing program or in an undergraduate program who have chosen long-term care or geriatrics as their practice area after graduation. Our Executive Director Cindy Fronning said it so well ““We are so proud to partner with PharMerica for over 10 years to award these scholarships to deserving members of our nursing communities. With the severe shortage of nursing staff, we need to encourage and reinforce how important it is to support them . In helping them achieve their goals in becoming nurses we also assist in providing the highest quality care for the residents, their families and loved ones who depend upon us and our well-trained and educated staff!”
Zack Barlow, PharMerica’s Director of Marketing, stated, “We are honored to continue our support of long-term care nursing with these scholarship awards. We admire the dedication and compassion of those who choose that profession, and we recognize their valuable contributions towards helping residents live their best lives. We wish this year’s scholarship winners the best in their educational and professional pursuits and thank them for their commitment.”
