The Successful DON Part 4: Relationships Matter

Earlier in this series, we talked about the information DONs need, the rules and survey process, as well as additional responsibilities that might be assigned. In
this webinar, we will review the different relationships that need to be built, created, established or forged. Each relationship adds to the culture of the facility and is the indicator of both a successful facility and the health and well-being of the residents. Join us as we discuss these relationships and the effect they can have.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify the importance of creating key relationships.
2. Describe 3 practices used to improve key relationships.
3. List 3 outcomes that can occur when there is a good relationship between the DON and the pharmacist.
This program has been approved for 1 participant hour of nursing continuing education, as well as by NAB/NCERS for nursing home administrators (approval #20271116-1-A117564-DL) and by NABP for pharmacists. Attendees must be in attendance for at least 50 minutes to receive credit.
