Part 4 of a 6-Part Series
A vital part of the assessment process is the inclusion of “Resident Voice” using multiple interviews that create data in each data set. This session will identify the purpose and process that must be utilized to create data from multiple interviews each time an assessment is completed. The data assists in care planning, outcome documentation, and identification of cognitive, mood on clinical issues that need to be addressed.
Operational managers need to evaluate the quality of the interview process, the accuracy of coding in the data base and the implications for payment and survey issues. This session will demonstrate the process for evaluating these activities and the data they create. Specific case examples of documentation and process issues will be discussed along with simple implementation processes to assure accuracy and timelines of
data. Training and competency evaluations will also be discussed. A must do session to reduce payment loss and increased regulatory risk as well as support proper care interventions.
