New information and guidance on MDS Section GG and general interviews have just been released. And understanding the changes is key to maximizing Part A and Medicare Advantage payments as well as your 5-star and quality measures. In the final days before the October 1 MDS 3.0 changes take effect, we’ll break down everything you need to know on these two hot topics, including coding examples, documentation requirements, and policies you’ll need to have in place. Designed for MDS coordinators, nurse leaders, and other members of the care team, this program will arm attendees with the knowledge and skills to navigate the latest updates to the MDS assessment process, so you’ll be ready to optimize your approach going forward.

1. Comprehend the Revisions to the GG Section and gain understanding of the modifications made to the GG (Functional Abilities and Goals) section in the 2023 MDS update.
